Question Western Digital Passport not showing correct number of files

Hello

I have a 1 TB Western Digital Passport which I just purchased that I use to backup important files .

Anyway I put a total of 99 gigabyte of files on it but when I select all the files and right click to verify I have the whole 99 gigabyte it says I have 8TB.

When I go to my computer and look at the passport it shows the correct size with the amount of space left.

File properties should show 99 gigs

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
