Western Digital SE16 Normal?

I recently bought a second hand Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS. What I am concerned about is the strange comparison between this one I bought(First) to the standard ones in stores(bottom) Even the board is somewhat different.

Can someone verify this as normal? Or is this drive been tampered with...
