Western Digital (WD1003FZEX) not working.

Recently I bought WD1003FZEX for my desktop with USB3.0 to SATA & SATA 3.0 cables included. But none of them is getting HDD work. What should I do? The drivers are updated.

I tried to connect with USB to SATA, it sees the HDD as F: driver but it’s empty and does not working.

So you bought an internal hard drive, but you're connecting it externally to a USB port with a SATA-to-USB cable? Correct so far?

Have you tried copying data to the drive?

And you didn't answer my opening question about how it's connected to your PC - - please do.

Have you formatted the drive (drive F) so that data can be written to it?

(If drive F is just a partition that hasn't been formatted yet, you won't be able to use it).
