Hi Guys,

I am willing to buy the following

WesternDigital WD60EFRX 6TB 64M SATA3 Intellipower NAS RED.

Question, I will not be using it in a NAS environment just directly connected through SATA3 in my PC Case for storage.

Are there any complications ?

They are designed for NAS environment and have ECC. If you are not using in a NAS buy a green, black, or blue that would be more suited for your application.
