Hehe, one more at least.

I dont really understand the Virtue of Empaty. Can the knight be fielded
with a unit of M-a-a if he has that virtue? He is not a character so he
really shouldn't be but if he isn't then that virtue is entirely
pointless. Since regular knight regiments, including questing and grail,
have minimum numbers per unit I'd have to give all of them empathy or
have one logging along on foot. Unless, of course, I put's a paladin on
foot but that seems abit wasteful.

only characters can get virtues. units of knights can't, not even unit
champions. there's nothing to stop you leading regiments of men-at-arms or
peasants with a character on foot, but there's rarely any point. the virtue
of empathy is just a concession to defensive tactics, particularly
siege-type games where units of knights can't man walls etc.

First of all, you CANNOT GIVE a regular unit champpion a virtue, they
aren't really characters, they just count as a character when
determinating challenges.

And yes, if you give your paladin or lord the virtue of empathy, he can
fight on foot and join men-at-arms regiments, just as he could join them
with a horse =). Only reasons for having a character on foot in bret
army IMO are having someone with 360 charge arc protect your
artillery/flanks from skrimishers, but it is rarely worth doing.

Yep, it allows you to have a knight (on foot) join foot troopers and it
gives the troopers better leadership. I would guess this is good if you are
playing a siege and have to defend an obstacle.
