What´s the laptop GPU equivalent to GTX 1080 Ti

I've been looking for laptops with GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti but I could not find any. What would be a laptop GPU with more or less the same power and performance?

Mobile 1080Ti didn't exist, so that would explain your troubles.

You would be looking for 2080 and 3070 class laptops or above. 4070 would be the latest, not sure if those have hit the streets yet.

That thread is from 2019 and checking on GPU benchmark GPU Benchmark RTX 2080 Super Max Q mobile vs GTX 1080 Ti it looks like GTX 1080 Ti performs better than the best laptop GPU in 2019. I would expect that maybe the best laptop GPU today is closer to GTX 1080 Ti

The best laptop GPU available is the mobile 4090. It is shockingly expensive though.

Literally released/announced yesterday, pretty much the entire 40 series for laptops, 4050-4090.

Given that a mobile 4090 has almost 10,000 CUDA cores, and the previous 3080Ti mobile boasted about 7500, and the full on desktop 1080Ti managed only 3600 cores. You might say that. Mobile RTX 3060 has a good chance to outperform a desktop 1080Ti as well.

Mobile 4090 is the same GPU as the desktop 4080, just a few cores missing and a lot less power draw.

Laptop GPU's and Desktop GPU's of the same series will not perform the same considering they are on two different form factors and cooling solutions, not to mention the sort of PCB and power delivery they both have access to. Seeing a current generation discrete GPU's performance be found on a laptop a couple of generations into the future is not uncommon...especially since everything in the tech world is actually a watered down version of a former top of the line tech...much like how WiFi is commonplace in pretty much the cheapest of households.

Always comes down to price. How much have you got to spend on a high end gaming laptop?

Dell has some 4080 laptops for just under $3,000

Razer has the 4090 laptops at just above $4,000

A few 3080Ti laptops still around for like $3400.
