What’s a good gaming microphone? Creating videos while gaming

What’s a good gaming microphone?

I came across a list of gaming microphones which look a lot like I’ll be recording a song or something. Do I really need to get something like this? Basically, my point is I play Minecraft and I just want to create videos while playing games and upload to YouTube.

I’m also planning to have a couple of friends with me so I know that my Apple earphones with mic won’t work. Do I have to get more than 1 microphone if that’s the case or will one be powerful enough to record all our voices. Of course, when we’re playing we’re side by side but we won’t really be squeezed together so I think their voices won’t get recorded in that case.

The budget mics on this list don’t interest me though. Budget is under £30 if possible because I don’t want to spend over £100 if I buy three of these. Thanks!

I was given a Blue Yeti microphone last month for Xmas and it is terrific!

If you can afford it, it'll work perfectly. It has 4 different "settings" that you can select to determine from how you are to "collect" the audio(so to speak) from a certain direction.

From the link you provided, that's what is pictured along the top in that line of microphones...all Yeti's.
