Hello

I am looking to purchase my 1st 1440p monitor. Here in South Africa our choices are limited and more expensive.

I was looking to get the AOC CQ27G1 27". It is roughly $400 with conversion.

My other option is the AOC CQ27G2 27" QHD. Which I'm not really sure the difference to the G1. It is $480.

Third choice is to try stretch my budget and try the TUF GAMING VG27WQ. This is $550

Is it worth the extra $150 compared to the G1?

The sites listed are the better value for money in the country. Amazon can ship here but it usually is more expensive with shipping and taxes.
Any other findings or suggestions are welcome
My current monitor is a Dell S2330MX

GPU GTX 1070 Strix OC

Thanks

Not really sure. The third one would be better if going to play games with high framerates (esports, low-end ones...) and run hi-framerate software, while the extra hz wouldn't come in handy in heavy games (Horizon: Zero Dawn, Red Dead Redemption 2...). The more expensive one has some more advantagees, too, like the bigger brightness; the monitor with 1800 R seems a bit better curved to me (personally I don't like any curves at all), ; but no tones of difference, I think. Maybe just what is cheaper.
Check this thread, too:
