I have a GTX 970 and would like to know the BEST monitor i can get for under £400

I've considered free-sync, G-sync, 24", 27", 1440p, 1080p.

Would I lose quality on a 27" at 1080p?

What is my best option?

I mostly play CS:GO.. but also frequently play Total War: Attila, fallout & racing.

You can't go wrong with either of the monitors, but I would recommend BenQ, it's pretty industry standard with esports, and it offers the black equalizer which truly makes a difference in FPS games (CS:GO)

The inches of your monitor only really matter depending on how far away you sit so a 24" is most likely suitable.
1440p might give you slightly better resolution, but the performance can take a bit of a hit from having to render more, but I think you'll be alright with the gtx 970. Depending on what you want, you might not even need G-sync. I recently upgraded to this monitor: http://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-DisplayPort-Ergonomic-Back-lit/dp/B00B2HH7G0 and I love the 144hz. If you still want the g-sync, get that and not free-sync because that is for amd.

Thanks for replies! I've already looked at both of these monitors and just can't convince myself.. I already have a 23.5 inch asus (60hz, 1ms) and even though the benq looks good i still want a larger screen.. 25/26 would be perfect!

Thanks for the gsync tip Mankar!
Also PrivilegeYT, how can a 1080p monitor handle 1440p? I don't understand.
