Hello, I'm trying too upgrade my ram from what I have right now (8 gb ddr3) too 16gb ddr4 but I dont know which memory will work for my pc. I need some around 60-80$ USD or less..


I just need a 16gb ram ddr4 set that will work for me. Thanks too all!

i7 2600
GTX 1050Ti
8gb ram
1tb hdd
cx450 psu
OptiPlex 390

Your system does not support DDR4. It only support DDR3 and at 8Gb(2x4gb dimms) you are maxed out on the amount your board supports.

Just note it may not work. Official specs state an 8GB(2x4gb) max but there are some reports of 2x8gb kits working and some of them not working. Crucial and Kingstons memory configurators only offer a compatibility guarantee with 8GB kits on that system.
Which one do you think has the highest chance of working?
