What 8-pin PSU cable will fit my GTX 970?

PC Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS Rampage IV GENE
CPU: Intel i7-3820 @ 3.60GHz (4 Cores, 8 Threads)
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 RX 850W
Case: ROG CM Storm Trooper
RAM: ASUS Corsair Vengeance 16GB
GPU: GTX 550Ti SLI ( WANT TO REPLACE WITH GTX 970 SSC )

I want to replace my current GTX 550Ti SLI setup with a GeForce GTX 970 SSC, but I need an 8-pin with a 6-pin to be able to power it. I currently have two 6-pins powering my GTX 550Ti SLI setup. So all I need is an 8-pin, I have already tried buying one and it didn't fit, which was really upsetting. I just need some help finding an 8-pin that will fit my PSU and my GPU. Here's an image of the 8-pin that I purchased, that did NOT fit.

It is likely utter trash. I'm not trying to be rude but warning. You know why it doesn't even have an 8-pin? Because the manufacturer clearly realized that these PSUs have fake labelled wattages and can really not meet their rated wattage. With the poor performance of these units, it baffles me that'd you would put a nice new $330 card on it, but if you insist, you can purchase a 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe adapter. You cannot just go buying random modular cables, they won't work and aren't always even electrically compatible, which can cause a shortage and bad crap happens.

I HIGHLY suggest you get rid of the PSU, it won't last long with a 970. Hell, I've had one of those actually blow up and a second one develop horrible coil whine. The EVGA G2 650 or 750w PSUs are cheap and capable, and if you absolutely need to spend less you can always get the 700W B2.

Seriously, don't bother with that unless you plan on buying a new computer once that PSU blows up and takes things with it!
