I know most people will go for the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 and even Ryzen 9 but there's nothing about Ryzen 3 Zen2? They could be a great budget option imo. Im not sure if that's true but Ive seen a leak of Ryzen 3 3300 with 6 cores and 12 threads which almost beats the 2700X. Im still thinking if they release Ryzen 3 Zen2 should I finally change my FX 8350?

Uhm... I find it hard for a Ry3300 CPU to be a 6-core given the APU numbering.

In any case, to your question, any Ryzen will be a frog-leap over your FX. As for the "budget" Ry3K line, I haven't read nor seen anything official, but just going by benchmarks, even the APUs would be a massive upgrade for you.

If you ask me, going on a quick mental exercise, build something around a Ry3600 or a Ry3600X, 16GB 3200Mhz and a B450/X570 (either that's in budget) motherboard and you'll be set for a good while.

Cheers!

You could be right , but still in my opinion it would be nice if they release them even if they are not as powerful as those from the leak. X570 is a bit.......pricey if you ask me. Tho the B450 is something I would consider more since I dont have a gold bar next to my PC to spend on parts. And also I was thinking if I should wait and see if they release them and buy one or wait for the Zen+ prices to drop. The Zen+ will save me money since I dont have to go B450, or should I? oh and btw.....intel is out of the question.....

That's just hard speculation, though. And it kind of falls flat when the Ry3400G is a 4 core 8 thread APU. The speculated Ry3300 would have to be a 4 core 4/8 thread CPU to make sense in the numbering.

And I wouldn't tell you to go with the Ry3200G unless you're REALLY constrained on money. Try to think of building around the Ry3600. That's a safe bet.

Cheers!

Yeah ....imma go with 3600. Its gonna be overkill for the 1060 in my opinion but this means more headroom for future gpu upgrades. Thanks for the help guys. Also there is another question about my cpu clock speeds... Ill be thankful if you go and see if you can help.

If you don't mind reducing details and resolution, you can stretch the discrepancy between GPU and CPU pretty far in the pursuit of higher FPS.
im playing on a ultrawide 2560x1080 lg and it looks too stretched if i choose any other resolution. And also I wouldn't go below medium unless its somethings that I don't pay attention to or don't notice. And also is it possible that the ultrawide is reducing the fps that much? Before i was on a normal 1080p. I have overclocked the card +150 on core and +500 on memory so I guess that the cpu is holding the gpu back especially on ultrawide resolution
