So I just bought a used PC on Craigslist as well as a GPU. The PC more specifically has a gigabyte x58-USB3 motherboard, and a OCZ Mod X Stream-Pro Power Supply 500W. The GPU that was in it when I bought it, didn't need any extra power from the PSU, it just took the power from the motherboard. I just went out and bought an MSI 1050ti 4GB, and it has an extra PCI-E power plug. The seller of the PC didn't give me any of the cables for the PSU. What adapter/cable do i need to be able to power the GPU? (See pictures) I thought that a 6p/6pin male to 6pin male cable like this (https://www.ebay.com/i/282771015240?chn=ps&dispItem=1) would work but the top left two plugs on my PSU are square.

What you are seeing is normal.
Power plugs are keyed so they only fit one way.
The end that goes into the psu will be different from the other end which goes into the graphics card.
The ebay link looks very promising:

They offer such cables for a variety of power supplies.
I did not recognize yours on the list.
You might send them a message with the description of your exact psu.
It looks like a $10-$15 should get you one.
Most GTX1050ti cards will run on slot power only.
Yours is an overclocked version that needs aux 6 pin power.

You could possibly order some or all cables from OCZ for your psu.
or, they may be available on ebay.
Here is a link:

Or, you could use the TX650w psu.
Power is not an issue, and there is usually some place to hide unused cables.

Right, I know I need a 6 pin cable but my Power Supply's port is different than the one on my Graphics Card, isn't it? And unfortunately the TX650w doesn't have the right connector for my motherboard. I'm new to building computers if you cant tell haha
