What adhesive should i used to re seal mt delid on my 8600k,

I'm wondering whats the best adhesive to to re attached my IHS to my CPU end. I've heard that you could use nothing and just let the mobo hold it in place. But i dunno. I also hear Greala glur is goods.

-Does anyone know the best stuff to use? I heard that leaving the snmallest fgao. I woukld just out a rtnby davb ibn each coner to hold dit tight

I havent dellided yet, I;m still wait on parst from amaxon, stock my 8600k doe 5.0GHZ at 1.28v. Maybe a dellidd

You might want to edit the post - it's quite difficult to follow.

I assume that's a typo..... 2.8V ?????

If you go the delid route, you do not *need* to reseal as the retention on the socket will hold it in place. Various recommendations for resealing though, anything from a small amount of super glue on each corner, through full-blown replacement of the silicone adhesive.
