Hi, currently i have an i7-6700k with a stock cooler on a h110m pro-vd motherboard. And i reach around 80C while playing games

This is too hot. And to resolve this, I wanted to get a new cooler

was looking at the Cryorig H7 and the Noctua u14s

Noctua is a little more (around £20) just wondering if it significantly better than the Cryorig? if so, ill probably get it

I dont overclock, as my motherboard doesnt support it.

Thanks

A intel cpu will slow down or throttle if it detects a dangerous temperature.
That is around 100c.

Nice case, it has 172mm available for a cooler and good front air intake.

You will be very pleased with the scythe kotetsu.
You need no more.
80c. is not out of line.

What is your case?
Noctua NH-U14s is 165mm tall, and is probably much more than you need. It is intended for maximum overclocks.
If you have restricted height, the cryorig H7 is the go to cooler at 145mm high.

My recommendation is the scythe kotetsu, a 160mm tall cooler.
For $35 it is an outstanding cooler.
I installed one in my son's pc. It is particularly quiet.

Here is a review; note the chart at the end where it competes with even the noctua NH-U12s and NH-U14s
