So im sending back my GPU to RMA because the noises returned but they are way more severe this time (the first time the card made rattling noises when the fans started to spin , right now it still makes this noise but louder and as if the fans are hitting cables or smth which i checked and they werent)
So i just feel so bad while all what i ever wanted was just to play games without any issues..i don't even play games that are that demanding the most demanding game i ever played was rise of the tomb raider..
So..if i get no luck with the RMA for the second time. (Which they will refuse to replace the card for me like the first time)
Should i upgrade to a gtx 1660 super?..i have an i5 7400 and we all know how that CPU is..

A 1660 super is 25% bottlenecked with the cpu according to nvidia customer support.
I wanted to get a gtx 1070 but yeah..above the 34% barrier. And same for the RTX 2060..

should i just buy another 1660 but a different brand from gigabyte?? Help..what am i really supposed to do since this makes me want to cry lol

The 1660 super is very similar performance wise, to a 1070. I don't trust any bottleneck calculator type stuff, even from Nvidia. Yes, your CPU can hold you back in modern titles, but undemanding/older titles, you should be fine. Get the best GPU that you can afford, and your PSU can safely handle. You can always transfer it to a better build later on. Don't worry about your CPU holding back the GPU.

The thing is i don't want to pay tons of money for a performance idk about..some people recommended me to downgrade to an ROG strix 1650 Super. They said its strongly similar to the 1660 but only with a 4gb vram not 6..
And some other people told me not to get 1660 super because its overly expensive and the difference in performance isnt even noticable..what do you think of that??

some people say the performance upgrade from 1660 to 1660 super isnt worth it..which scares because i dont want to pay tons of money with no gains at all..
I have been thinking to get an rtx 2060 with a payment plan..which scares me even more because its overly expensive..some even recommended me to get a gtx 1650 super...extremely similar to 1660 with lower bottleneck..i really dont know what to do anymore..

The super is a good card. I owned one and it runs pretty well. Depending how much your paying though, might look around. My local Microcenter has 6600xt cards for 439 now.

Forgot to add i got a 550W psu..would that be enough for 1660 super or 2060

I5 7400
8*2 ram 2400mhz
1tb hdd blue
Rtx 2060
FSP Hexa+ 550W
My question is what do you guys think of this psu?? And is it enough for the card?
The psu i got it already but around 2 years ago the fan started rattling when i turn on my pc. Took it to a tech shop and they lubed it for me using "Machine oil" is that okay? It hasnt made any noise ever since then.

The GPU "rattling" may not be the fans but might be coil whine from the voltage regulators. This problem exists because the regulators may be getting power from the PSU that is slightly under or over voltage than what they were designed for. As it is right now, replacing a PSU is significantly cheaper than replacing a GPU. If you happen to have another PSU handy you can try switching it out to see if the noise goes away. In fact, if your PSU is from a sketchy manufacturer or is more than a few years old, it may be worth it to replace it anyway.

As far as bottlenecking...it's rare when the CPU actually can't keep up with the GPU, and then only in niche situations where the CPU is floored by sheer IO. In most situations where you are experiencing a CPU bottleneck, all you have to do is turn on more eye candy and your machine goes back to being GPU bottlenecked.

I run a 2070Super, 3700x with full custom loop on a 600w corsair sfx, and have plenty of room left over, it'd run on 550w without issue.

1660 / 1660S / 1660ti are intrinsically the same card. The extra few fps you get with the Super aren't enough to change game play At All. Once you get past the 100(ish) fps range, most humans cannot physically see any difference, and the % of difference in input lag etc is so small and so fast it has no meaningful impact between the cards.

Bottlenecks do not apply to you. The games will play as they can regardless of cpu-gpu ratio. The only time a bottleneck will apply to anything is in comparison to a different pc. If you get 200fps in CSGO, that's what you get. If comparing it to someone who has a similar setup, and they get 300fps, that doesn't affect you at all, it only means that there's a possibility that your settings are in someway changing the results. Could be as simple as you running under quality settings in gpu, and he's running performance, you have background tasks, he doesn't etc. Him getting higher fps doesn't mean that there is something wrong with your setup, only that you are not as streamlined as he is.

You walk, talk, eat, sleep, love like any other human, and do just fine, you are who you are. Don't compare yourself to an Olympic runner, auctioneer, record hot-dog chomper, narcoleptic or porn star and think you are being held back in some way because you can't do what they do.
