What am I supposed to do with a SSD???

I duct taped mine to the bottom of my case but is this normal????
why dont they come with a mount or something??

I don't like the sticky residue so when I don't have an actual mounting adapter I usually just lay it in a 5.25 bay on top of a chunk of antistatic bag.

Sometimes they end up handing by their cables, my machines are not often moved around.

Most cases nowadays have a place to mount a 2.5" drive if yours doesn't you'll need a 2.5 to 3.5" adapter.

Duct tape, velco etc are possible options - although not ideal. An SSD has no moving parts so does not need to be secured like a traditional HDD does. You can leave it as is without issues.

Older cases (and some budget cases, even today) lack 2.5" drive support, in which case 3.5" to 2.5" adapters are available.

Most recent cases have 1 or more dedicated 2.5" mount points.

But I've used velcro, zip ties, a small foam pad on the floor of the case...
