What AMD Processors will run on a Lenovo Bantry CRB Motherboard?

I am planning to upgrade my computer parts to a more powerful CPU for gaming. I have no knowledge of what this motherboard can run (at maximum). I have also read somewhere that the Lenovo motherboards are based off of AMD, therefore it can only run AMD CPU's. Does anyone know of an online list or personal knowledge of what processors this motherboard can handle? If so, I am looking around the $150 range, thanks.

Right now, HP is the only major manufacturer that has a significant AMD lineup; most Lenovo laptops are Intel-based.

I would recommend generally avoiding AMD CPUs in laptops. They've come a long way with Carizzo, but they're still objectively slower and more power hungry than their competitors.

Yes. I am currently running an AMD A10 7800 with a GTX 1060. The reason I asked this question is because I know the 7800 bottlenecks my card.

If you already have an A10 7800, there's no real upgrade for you. That's close to the fastest CPU available for socket FM2+, and any faster chip is only very marginally so.

Alright. I bought the GTX 1060 thinking there would be a massive bottleneck, but runs like a charm. Also looking to completely rebuild my computer soon.

AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1 GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor should do the trick i have it in my lenovo bantry i overclocked the cpu, it runs amazing. i think you should get that cpu, it's the best fm2 and fm2+ cpu out there

and by the way a what type of gtx 1060 do you have because i'm looking into getting a new graphics card

Why would OP move from an A10 7800 to a 6800?

Ecky obviously you didn't look at the specs between the 2 the 7800 is only quad core 3.5 GHz the 6800 is quad core 4.1ghz

The 7800 is 5-10% faster per clock. It uses the newer Steamroller architecture, which draws less power too.

Ecky I still think that extra .6ghz would be it much faster than the 7800k just because I've been looking it even has higher voltage power and everything about it is just better

"Much faster", no. A 500mhz advantage (3.9 vs 4.4 turbo) for one with a 10% IPC advantage for the other (3.9 x 1.1 = 4.3) and they'd perform practically the same. The 6800K would draw a lot more power doing so. Even if the 6800K were 10-20% faster (which it isn't), that's still small enough that you wouldn't be able to tell a difference without measuring it, visually they'd be identical. It's not an upgrade.

Ecky ok so I should get the 7800k because k have the lenovo bantry will it really make that much of a difference than the 6800k like noticeable increase in fps because I have and fx 770k 3.5 GHz over clocked to 3.8ghz and quad core so what do you recommend I go to for ab upgrade

There is no significantly faster CPU for socket FM2+. Any CPU that fits in the socket will be unnoticeably faster and not worth your time and money to change.
