What anti-virus should I get?

What anti-virus should I get that is free or should I just stick with microsoft security essentials?
(sorry if this question is in the wrong category I don't know which it would fall under) (I chose windows 7 category because that is the OS I have)

I have no problem with MS security essentials. It is free and unobtrusive.
They work on the most likely viruses, not so much as the in the wild viruses.
Your best defense against viruses and malware is to be aware. Don't click on links in unexpected emails.
Verify where any download is coming from. etc...
