[SOLVED] What are EPS cables?

Hi everyone,
Where is the difference between 8 pin EPS connector and 8 pins PCI-E connector?
(I need 8+8pin for my GPU and 8+4pin for CPU)

it has different wiring and it has differences in connectors
u can recognize them as follow:
CPU EPS: 4+4 or 8 pin connectors
GPU PCIE: 6+2 connectors

for CPU part you can run it with only 8pin (4+4) EPS and it will work, unless u do extreme overclock
for GPU part u need both 8pin (6+2) PCIE connectors

if your current power supply doesnt offer enough connectors, u may want to replace your PSU
