What are game installers

I'm not sure what you are referring to.

STEAM is a program that can automatically download and install games for you. Games take up a lot of space, so most people have Windows/apps on the SSD, and Steam installed on the Hard Drive.

1. Install Steam to the HDD (choose E:/STEAM for example if "E" is your hard drive)
2. Register an account
3. Buy a game or get a demo. Steam will automatically install it for you into this folder.

Games installers = the software that installs the game
Some installers can install a number of games, such as Origin or Steam; while others only install one.

Where to store them? i wouldnt store the installer, they tend to be small and easily downloaded. Store the game where you wish. few benefit from an SSD. Some people store games only on the HDD while some store their frequently used games onto their SSD (provided they have the space)

OK I have origin and other games on my HDD and 1 game currently downloading on my SSD (origin) so if origin isn't also on the SSD can I still use that game?

1) Open ORIGIN
2) Origin-> Applications Settings-> Advanced

This section shows you where your Download and Game Installations are. Once the game Downloads, it will then be automatically Installed into the Installation folder.

You also have the option to keep the original Game Installer or not.

So these folders can be on separate drives.
