NZXT make some very high rated controllers. Pretty cool too. They fit in a 5.25 inch slot on your case.

Five is more than enough. Optical drives (DVD, Blu-RAY, CD) are one of the few things that actually fill that slot. Unless you're just trying to, you probably won't ever fill them up.
