i am going to build a new rig with MSI Z270 M5
and it has a super looking for me
but it has killer E2500 lan and people dont stop talking about its issues
so should i get i another motherboard with intel i219v
and what if i didnt install the killer app (only the driver)
and they say it uses the CPU but does it still use CPU all the time or only when browsring and download or when i use its app?

Solution
The killer nic is not necessarily issue prone (that i know of), it is just over rated and pretty much any Intel nic is superior in every way.

You should try and get a board with an intel nic if you care at all about the network adapter. To be honest, for gaming and regular use, even the cheep nics that come on boards are good enough. I have no issues saturating 1000gbps with any nic in my environment, intel or otherwise. I certainly would not be willing to pay extra for the killer brand.

Yes I think there is issue with Killer nic, I'm about to get new motherboard. Currently using Z270 Gaming m7. It keeps throwing BSOD Bad_pool_caller.
So annoying. Had MSI Z87 gd65 motherboard with killer nic and had no problem. different killer version.
