Price varies by region so you have to call 1-800-comcast or go to a cable store to find out.

Comcast will not take an e-mail from you, however if you cancel the previous provider's service they may, since you say yahoo, I doubt it will happen, but if you have say myemail@att.net that would likely go away when you left their service. i use a yahoo email I have had for about 20 years now with comcast. You will get a comcast.net m email but you do not have to use it, just forget about it and go on with yahoo.
