I just had my ps4 power supply blow up a few weeks ago and im about to have my new power supply but i was looking over my system and i notice that there was some burn on the other side of the 2 prongs that connects to the power supply.. its nothing bad but looks like i can wipe it off.. im just wondering if it will affect how my power supply will work.. please give me some good news

Oh so you haven't even tried turning it on since noticing the burn marks? You already have a new power supply on the way? Yeah I wouldn't try the old one in that case. Depending on how that...
The two prongs deliver power. There are burn marks on it? And it still works? I don't know whats causing that but burn marks around your power supply are not a good sign at all, keep an eye on it I would probably unplug it when you leave your house until you find out what caused the burns.

the 2 prongs that are connected to mother board are the ones that have a little burn not the power supply.. i haven't tried it yet because im waiting for the power supply.. so are you saying that it wont work at all if i hook up a new power supply..

Depending on how that power supply failed it could have taken the motherboard with it, however I doubt it. Assuming the power supply sony uses is not utter garbage it should have the proper protection circuitry to stop a surge or whatever caused those burn marks from damaging anything else other than the power supply.
