What are the AMD / Nvidia equivalent cards?

Hello there. I'm curious as to what the proper matchup, according to the intended target, between the Nvidia and AMD cards are.

Is it rR360 vs GTX 960 ... R380 vs GTX 980.. Fury X vs Titan X?

The comparison for the most popular cards is:
380 vs 960 (380 edges out the 960)
390 vs 970 (970 at 1080p, 390 at above)
390X and 980 (980)
FuryX
980Ti and TITAN-X (There is no reason to get the TITAN over the 980Ti if you are gaming)
Then theres the 295x2 which really is less attractive than the 980Ti.
