There is a really good deal at iem sydney, I was wondering which would be the best of the (choose one) parts, as for the gpu, I have already ordered an gtx 1070. I also have a spare msi z270 k3 and ddr4 16gb 3200mhz that I bought a day before seeing this. Will be my first pc by the way.

Geofelt - think you're missing this is in Australian dollars .

The i7 alone is $470 in oz.
$699 is an insane price for that lot.

Shahil_1 - I'll always take gigabyte over MSI personally for boards.

PSU doesn't look that bad to me , can't find a proper strip down.
Looks like a CWT manufactured DC-DC unit, not something I'd generally buy but hardly awful.

Out of those cases the view 31 is like a $160-170 case, id take it just because its worth so much more than the others .

There's another thread on this mate.
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-3404724/good-offer-open-suggestions.html

So bear with the comments on there & don't 100% expect to get one.

If you are lucky enough then

Krait, tomahawk or PC mate would be my choices.
Coolers ?? Dunno what the deepcool one is, probably the 120mm captain , Better than a tx3 no matter what it is.

Cases - n27 & c31 built on the same chassis.
The views are all similar to each other too.

User choice I'm afraid , decide what you like the look of.
The views are lovely cases aesthetically but limited cooling potential.

If that list all we should choose from and select the best components, I'm only going to pick the i7 processor. The PSU is crap while you don't really need anything above an onbaord audio solution as long as the onboard is an ALC1150 codec.

Sorry about that, it's my first time using this.
Would you recommend the Krait over the K3 that I have bought?
Thanks for the reply

I do not think I would pick any of the parts you listed.

Nothing wrong with the motherboard, ram and GTX1070.

With your budget, I would spend a bit more for a I7-7700K or, if you will overclock, a I5-7600K.

A GTX1070 needs a quality 500w psu.
Buy only a good quality unit, preferably tier 1 or 2 from a list such as this:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Either I5-7600K or I7-7700K will run perfectly well with a air cooler.
A tower type with a 120 or 140mm fan will be fine, and are not expensive.

Buy a nice case up front, you will keep it for a long time.
If it has at least two front 120mm intakes or better, you will have great cooling.

In the end I will have to pick one of the optinal parts.

For the motherboard, I can either use or sell the one I bought but that would only be the case if one of these motherboards were better than the one I had now. Which motherboard would you say is the top pick?

I think the view 31 tg has 3 fan slots at the front with 2 fans already attached, also I will definitely get a different psu, thanks for the link

The best part is windows 10 PRO
I7=7700 is OK.
The stock cooler is about as good as the TX3 and I would not touch liquid cooling in a decent case.
view 31 looks ok.
No need for a discrete sound card.

Yes, I missed the Aus $.
The add looks fishy, or at least incomplete.
Certainly, there should be some price differential between a crappy TX3 cooler that is not needed and a liquid cooling setup.
Or, a discrete sound card that is not needed.

^ its a loss leader to get people to buy a $60 ticket to the convention.

No doubt 20 or do people will walk away with a bargain (out of the thousands that attend)

I wouldn't spend the ticket money with the sole intention of grabbing one though , unless you have the luck of the Irish .
