What are the best settings for a wireless PCI card?

I just bought a rosewill RNX N300X PCI wireless card that someone else reccomended here, and I was just wondering if anyone knew what the best settings for it are. I am at this menu: http://s28.postimg.org/vrsqte84d/upload.png and I am not sure what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated. I am using windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

If I were you I would just install the drivers and not the software that comes with it. Let windows manage all the settings. If that is not an option just use what ever the defaults are.

the reason I was asking is because I see a four bar excellent connection and my internet is loading really slowly, slower than a usb 150mbps card, and this is a 300mbps PCI card with three antennas.

Have you ran speedtest? Do you have another device you can run speedtest on as well?

Enable the top 3 options. Then run speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/

If your speed isn't good after that, then it may be that where your antennas are (the back of your pc) isn't a good reception area. Turn your PC around and see how it does on speed test. If it improves a good deal, then you will need antenna extenders like the ones below to raise your signal up higher.

That just seems wrong to me. First, what the actual !@$% with the faster upload, second, the old usb one kicked the new cards @$$.

And would it be beneficial to move my GPU down to a lower pci slot so the wireless card can be in the highest one?

Leave the IEEE and radio on/off to their defaults, but turn off the multimedia/gaming environment and the power saving one.

Well try the settings thing I just posted and if the same result is achieved, then try the turning your pc around thing. Then you will know if you just need antenna extenders.

Don't move the GPU. The higher up slot is always the best one for your GPU and the fastest slot on the board. The wireless card's location in the motherboard won't affect it's speed. Mine is in the lowermost slot and runs great.

Give rosewill tech support a call, you might have a defective card.

well I bought the card off ebay so im not sure they will help. It was a new unopened box though

That shows it getting a decent connection to the router, but the speed on the internet is dreadful. Older usb cards are running much better.

I actually took a trip to my local computer shop and got some cables and adapters and did some magic to run a cable straight to my PC.
