What are the differences between these motherboards?

The gigabyte board has 2 pci slots, and they are basically the same minus the specific features for each one in according to their manufacturers. Check the features and see which one appeals to you more, you cant go wrong.

I honestly don't see a big difference but i'd go for the gigabyte because I've had a better experience with them

I had a GA-Z97-HD3 for a couple years before I decided to update the bios and it led to me having to RMA it, and I recently got the Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 while my other board is getting rma (imma use that for another pc) but yea they are both great companies. Gigabyte i tend to refer people too just because the one I had never had any issues. Customer service with all those services is kinda eh. EVGA has the best customer service imo.
