I have a budget of around 2000, This computer will be used for gaming, music composition, video editing so it needs to be an absolute tank. On pcpartypicker i dont know what parts i need/dont need.
if you could shine light on essential parts. or even put parts in a cart and post the link that would be fantastic!!

Thanks for your time
Joe :)

Something like this maybe? I've added a 80 dollar sound card since you do music composition. Also please note I'm very new to this so don't rely to heavily on what I'm suggesting as it may not be the best build you could get. Anyone that can correct and/or confirm my build, please do! I've also added a 144hz monitor for maximum sexyness! If you think 60Hz might be enough for you you can exchange it and upgrade the videocard to a GTX 780Ti.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($319.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($33.98 @ SuperBiiz)...

CPU
Motherboard
Power Supply
Case
Memory
Video Card
Audio Card (most motherboards have one onboard, but if you're doing music composition you may want a discrete one)
Storage Devices (more than one since you're doing video editing)
Human Interface devices (Display, Mouse, Keybard)
Beer
