Hi there!

I already have a 4GB 1333Mhz 1.5 V DIMM for my desktop and i was thinking of buying another one...

As i would like to operate dual channel DIMM's i was plannig on buying an identical stick of RAM.(Mg mobo does support dual channel)

Before that i wanted to know what are the factors i need to see before buying another stick of RAM...(Does Brand matter btw?)

Please note that i have a few dollars in my wallet and thus buying hat one stick is my only option...

And my mobo supports a maximum of 8GB memory size according to Intel's site.

As i already have a 2GB VRAM, will using 8 gigs of Sdram cross he limit of my Mobo?

Either buy the exact same stick of ram or buy a 2x4GB ram kit that come matched from the factory. With all things shared in your thread's body, you forgot to mention the specs to your current system.

List them like so:
CPU:
(aftermarket cooling):
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
