What are the numbers/letters listed under 'Interfaces' in Regedit?

Hi all,

Writing to ask if anyone knows what the strings of numbers/letters listed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ represent?

They are always of the format {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx} where 'x' is a number or letter.

I'm concerned my computer may be hacked by an advanced hacker and am searching for evidence of such attempts. Even if these interface codes are unrelated to external intrusion I'd be grateful if anyone could mention anywhere on my system I should check to find evidence of remote system access.

Appreciated as always.

Solution
Stop right now.

I do mean stop.

Turn off the computer immediately.

If you think you've been targeted personally by hackers (i.e. not just random virus you installed), take it to a professional and contact the authorities. Anything you do will actually be destroying evidence.

And no, what you listed is just how items are normally listed in Windows to avoid collisions.
