Is a standard atx layout so any psu with a 24pin connector for the motherboard and aditional 4/8 pin for the cpu should work. Form factor (ATX/SFX/TFX) depends on what case is used.

I believe you nailed the motherboard! This is a Lian Li micro ITX case. The power adapter plugs into the back not inside the case. I know it's a lot of trouble but could you give me an example of what I should purchase don't worry about finding the cheapest one. I have photos but I don't know how to attach them. Thanks again for all your help!!

So I have no idea why I spent so much time looking at photos of mico-itx motherboards.... I guess because it has a red ethernet port that is strange.

My guess is your board is DQ77KB

https://www.amazon.com/Intel-DQ77KB-Mini-ITX-BLKDQ77KB-1-Pack/dp/B00GJ5H0XK

A quick search did not lead to the specs on the power but if you search that board number on amazon you will get power supplies they say work. Are they correct or not and is that really your board I don't know for sure so you will need to see if you can find any markings on your motherboard to see the actual part number

Good find. Looks like the right one.

It uses 19V external power supply. You just have to find one with correct size plug.
Power requirements mainly depend on CPU installed.
Thanks for all your help with this. I found a brand new setup on eBay that's the PicoPSU 90 and a 100 W brick I have an I3 cpu

That is either 30W (1.6A * 19V) or 65W (3.42A * 19V)adapter. Not nearly enough power.

You have to measure DC-IN socket on your pc, to find correct plug size.

Could someone please suggest the numbers I am looking for. i don't want to keep bothering
the people that I am trying to help? I feel like I am spinning my heels on this. I posted a question
on Intel support forum and I have received no response.
I appreciate all of the help but I am not there yet.
