Last year november I bought myself a 1070 Ti for my slightly older gaming system (16GB DDR3 Unsure about the Mhz/ i7 4770k OC/ Gigabyte H87-HD3/SSD for my windows/ and). Over the course of this year I have noticed that I might be bottlenecking my performance with my other parts. I need help finding the right other parts for the best equalized performance with the 1070Ti.

Solution
I wouldn't say your bottlenecking your 1070ti, if you upgraded to a better GPU you would get better FPS, if you upgrade to a better CPU you will get better FPS. What resolution are you playing at?

If you want to upgrade your CPU I would go with the 3600/3600x, that would require a new mobo and new ram. Lowest cost would probably be $350, that would be with bottom end parts though.

i have a similar setup and i don't notice any bottlenecking (i7 4790 and 1070) - what games do you play?
Witcher 3 at medium high struggles to get 60fps. Pubg at max hovers at 70 but drops often. I tried Assasin Creed Odyssey and then it averages 50fps at medium settings with a lot of drops. MORDHAU gets only around 55-60 at low without ragdolls or 40 with ragdolls, which is suprisingly low, but i dont know which pc part helps best with calculating all the ragdoling bodies.

edit1: also i forgot to mention gta5 never gets above 60 whatever settings i have

Playing at 1080p. Do you know what could fit well with the 3600/3600x Ram and MoBo wise ? (Not bottom end necessarily)

This is what I'd upgrade to if you have the cash, the 4770 is five years old, so it's getting a little long in the tooth.

That certainly looks within the budget, Thanks a lot!
