I was just wondering what the different letters distinguish, because I'm trying to look for monitors with a matte finish on the screen itself (Not the bezel and back) but I would have no idea if they would distinguish that in the model number. I just want to know what to look for because I don't want to buy a monitor and have it be glossy.

you will have to look at each model to see if the model has a matte or glare display. There are to much differencies and these are not normed with the letters. e.g. "H" could mean HDMI, but there is a monitor with TC at the end which has HDMI as well.

In short, no you can´t just look at the model number to see that it is matte or glare.

Have a look at this site:

there you can select "glossy: yes or no" and you can get a really good overview of monitors there.
