Looking for high capacity (960GB and 1TB) mSATA SSDs that are based on Silicon Motion SMI2246 controller.
I can find small capacities but mainly looking for larger ones.

I saw 1 name TriColorDogfish or TCDogfish (!!) SSD but not sure how that is.

Any advice highly appreciated

Well, we have a whole set of SSD based on this controller, mainly because we got a data recovery software can can smoothly handle 2246/EN and 2256 in case of any nightmare hitting us. We're basically useless when it comes to recovery with the most of newer controllers.
In terms of capacity I am a bit wary of going above 1TB per SSD...

Thanks. Makes sense... Hopefully I should break free from sticking to what we already have in the near future

Re. Aliexpress, etc. although I appreciate your comments, still and out of desperation, what kind of brand names or models should I search for? simply popping mSATA or Silicon Motion as search phrase result in 1000s of stuff. I'll be 97 years old (and probably have surrendered my driving licence!) by the time I found one, if I want to go through them one by one!
Since last night I figured Crucial BX200 is based on SM2246 but apparently there was no mSATA form factor of it ever supplied
