Question What are the steps installing a brand new SSD and HDD at the same time?

I bought a 240GB SSD and a 1TB HDD and I want to install them. What do I need to do to get the OS on my SSD and other programs on my HDD? I have done a little research but I don't want to screw it up, so I'm asking people directly. Thanks!

Install the SSD first and leave the HDD not connected for now. Once you have the OS installed onto the SSD then connect the HDD. If it doesn't show up then activate it in Disk Management (New system volume and follow the steps).

After all of that is done, to get other programs on your HDD, you need to point their installation to HHD and what ever letter it has. Most programs/ games allow you to change partition during first stages of installation process. Some files may still be written to C:
