Question What are the things to consider before adding an extra RAM

I have an 8GB ddr4 RAM and I was thinking of adding another stick. What are things I need to look for while buying the additional RAM.

RAM is best purchased in matched pairs at time of purchase. While you may not have any issues, subtle timing issues can crop up, resulting in errors. Running dual channel mode and with XMP only compounds the potential problems with mismatched sticks.
