What are these "free" software keys

i am trying to buy windows licence key for my new pc build but dont want to pay what microsoft want. i found this website. yes i kniow it looks pretty dodgy but will it work and is it legal. should i use one

No. If a website is offering free keys, then why wouldn't everyone use it? Just pony up the cash and get a legit key from Amazon, PcPartpicker or something. Never goes to these less than legit websites. They don't even use SSL.

There's a guy in the Walmart parking lot, with a van full of Sony 70" 4k TV's boxes.
He's selling them for $50. $10, if you talk him down enough.

Do they work? It is legit and legal?
