Ram is one of those things that really is all the same for the most parts. (The way I see it anyways)

VisionTek and GeiL are the only ones I haven't heard much about but I would believe they are reliable to.
As long as it DDR3 1600mhz and at least 2x4gb, that's all you'll ever need. I've had the same RAM going for 4 years now and ran a memory test just last week and no errors. I've reused 7 year old ram in builds before with no issues.
Crucial, G.Skill, Kingston, Corsair are major brands and they should all have similar warranties.
Usually with RAM the rule is: Get what is cheapest!
