Hey, guys

I will be starting an internet business selling computer components, and one of which will be GPUs. My goal is to keep the price below NewEgg first of all.

My question to you is which brands of NVIDIA or AMD Graphics Cards do you trust personally and why?

I'm looking to buy a stack of GPUs from the manufacturers that people like.

I appreciate your input 🙂

Solution
Asus cards look nice, but in my personal experience, 2/4 I bought died within hours or days of first use. Their mobos are great, but I no longer buy their graphics cards.
I've had excellent results from XFX on low to mid range cards, but very poor results (and no timely response from customer service) with a HD7970.
I've had good results from Powercolor's low-end cards.
I've had good results from HIS low-midrange cards, though I haven't bought theirs lately.
^Agreed about EVGA. I like them too.

My Gigabyte HD7970 is a fantastic card.
There are three that I like from both AMD and Nvidia:

ASUS: Asus has good looking cards, and very good coolers.

Gigabyte: Gigabyte has very long coolers, however they make up for that because they have the best coolers in the market (in my opinion). And they are reliable

EVGA: Reliable, they sell many versions of the same GPU (including many sizes), and they have excellent coolers.

Those are my top three, but others like MSI and powercolor are good aswell.

Not had a GPU die on me yet. Though my brother informs be my old BFG GTX285 is having output issues, but they went out of business for a reason. (Lifetime warranties, I'm sure that didn't help)

EVGA (GTX980, 8800GTS)
ASUS (2xGTX580 DCUII)
GIGABYTE(Geforce 6600)
MSI (FX5200)

I've had a PNY card or two, not sure I remember the models. Something between that FX5200 and 6600 I think. We have hundreds of PNY workstation cards at work $1000+ Quadros, not heard of any of those popping.

ASUS custom PCB are usually considered some of the best overclockers, but lately they seem to be falling behind on that claim. ASUS and MSI trade blows for being the top manufacturers, in volume, of PCBs. And lately I have seen more recommendations for the MSI TwinFrozr cooling solution then the ASUS Strix.

Gigabyte hasn't let me down either. Lots of motherboards and the one GPU still working. Gigabyte has been doing better on price/features it seems. Lots of ASUS motherboards as well.

I prefer ASUS because I happen to live near one of their service centers. They patched up a motherboard for me in under three days once.

(Best GPU company is 3DFX :) ) Where's my Voodoo Nvidia?!
