So a black out is basically when you turn on your motherboard, but the rest of the parts doesn't turn on. Fan is on, PSU is ofcourse on. But there is no output to the monitor, no output to the mouse and keyboard.
About a month before I had a gigabyte that could support an A10 processor ( Forgot the model number), but then it blacked out, so I took it to the repair and well it's also because of the faulty PSU.
I replaced both and now, my Asus motherboard earlier wouldn't turn on. I opened up the system unit, brushed off some areas of dust that accumulated, pulled out and then in the ram and walla, it turned on again.
I don't know, ddoes a motherboard black out not only because of the psu but maybe also because of the dust accumulated on it?
Any advise on what could have happened to my motherboard earlier?
