[SOLVED] what benchmark do i get?

so i see like, almost everybody pro using some type of benchmark app on their newly built desktop and all, which one should i get to test how good my pc is overall in term of graphics card and RAM.

Its not to test how good, more to test it is running stable. Here are a few;

Cinebench to test cpu
MemTest to test RAM
3DMark to test GPU

Then try running a few games. Do all these while monitoring temperatures.

Well unigene heaven and 3d mark firestrike, firestike extreme, and time spy are the popular ones for mainly GPU benchmarking. Cinebench R15 is popular for CPU benchmarking. User benchmark is also useful for comparing the performance of all your individual components to others with the same components though it can be misleading at times.

Memtest is a tool for testing the stability of RAM it's not really a benchmark. User benchmark will benchmark RAM. CPU benchmarks like cinebench will also likely be affected by RAM speeds.
