What Benchmark Should I Use?

Simple question here. I have an MSI RX 480 GAMING X 4G GPU and I am looking for a solid (preferably free) benchmark I can use to test my GPU. I use to use 3DMark but then heard questionable things about it. I was thinking of the Unigine Valley or Heaven benchmarks. Do you guys have any recommendations? What score should I receive with my GPU? Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

3dmark is helpful since they have an online database where you can look at other people's scores and compare your own. I like to use two or three non game benchmarks, then if the system seems to be working normally you can try some of your games. What I look for is not scores per se, or framerates, but anomalies.

If your 3dmark score is way off, that's an anomaly. If everything seems fine, except one game has a very poor framerate, that's an anomaly. That's how I zero in on problems and narrow down what kind of troubleshooting needs to be done.

Yes, I could do that, but I am curious as to what my actual GPU score is.

Your scores can vary widely depending on settings and hardware used. I have same RX 480 gaming X card as you and get about 10,200 in Firestrike with the system in my signature.

3dMark, Unigene Heaven, Kombustor, Furmark, and others ... I see the highest loads when playing games like Doom with all settings maxed out.

GPU-Z is a good one if you want to monitor every aspect of the card, voltages, temps, etc ...
