I have a ryzen 3 2200G which is overclocked to 3.9 GHZ and 1x8gb 2400 MHz ddr4 ram. I play a lot of games and noticed they have high CPU usage making multitasking difficult. When I play Rainbow Six Siege it uses 60-80% of my CPU. I am able to stream Rocket League (twitch.tv/ishrl) which maxes out my CPU occasionally but is always 90%+. My friend says he gets lower CPU usage playing Siege even though he plays on a AMD FX-4300 and 1x8gb 2666 MHz ddr3. I have seen people online saying I would see huge performance benefits by get faster RAM so would I be better off getting 2x8gb 3200 MHz ddr4 RAM or just upgrading my CPU to say a ryzen 7 2700x. I am planning to get both but don't have the money. As I know my slow RAM would not go well with the 2700x I was wondering if I should get the RAM first and wait for the processor? What performance benefits would I see? And how bad would the 2700x be with my 2400 MHz ram?

Specs:
AMD RYZEN 3 2200G @ 3.9 GHZ
MSI B450M GAMING PLUS
1x8gb 2400 MHz Ddr4
MSI RX 570 8gb

Most ram should work. Reason i mentioned CL14 is firstly Ryzen performs well with tighter timings and ram manufacturers (Corsair, Gskill, Crucial etc) 3000/3200MHz at CL14 use quality B-die memory chips from Samsung. They are simply the best for Ryzen. CL 15/16 commonly use other IC brands like Micron/Hynix and quality isn't as great.
