My BIOS is 2006 can I update straight to the 4631 BIOS?
I have an Asus TUF B450M Pro Gaming MOBO with a Ryzen 5 3600X With an EVGA 3070.
My PC works fine except for the USB ports. They will charge devices but they do not recognize flash drives I have tweaked settings, power plans, uninstalled drivers reinstalled them. Those tweaks seem to work once or twice but they never work long term. I updated the chipset just fine.
As a side note I would like to be able to use the RE BAR feature on my GPU as well which is currently not an option without an update.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can update bios to the latest on Asus without doing incremental updates like from some other brands.

Rebar, are you aware you need to enable above 4g decode first? Different motherboard in video but should be similar with your board.

Hopefully bios update addresses usb drive functionality by default. Im thinking there probably is a bios setting for it though, ie allow usb for boot & normal usage.

Read through the bios notes for each level and see there are any warnings.
