Question What Brand DDR3 RAM a value for money for DELL VOSTRO 1540 ?

Greetings everyone !

I have a Dell Vostro 1540 with following configurations:
4GB RAM
Intel Core i3 M370 @2.40 GI Iz 2.39 Gl Iz
64-bit OS

I want to increase the RAM but I am on a budget constraint.
I request your help to help me find the most cost effective Ram for my laptop..
My purpose is just to boost up speed for (necessarily) word processing, surfing , watch a couple videos and (desirable) using Adobe Photoshop .

You can get a single 4gb stick of DDR3L-1600 from here https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/Dell/vostro-1540 or find a used stick in your area with the same speed rating.

Looks like you need the low voltage RAM but check your current RAM type and speed to make sure. Also should check if you have a single 4gb stick or two 2gb ones.

Will be fine, but Samsung does not sell their own brand of RAM sticks. At least I have never seen or heard of them if they do.
