This will sound like a dumb question, but I wanna make sure i get the right part. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum too...
Basically im hoping to build my very first pc in the next month or so, but i know im gonna hit a little issue when i build it and cant figure out exactly what i need, well i know, but have no idea what its called, so i'm hoping someone can link me to what i need.
Here's the issue... I've decided on the Corsair 540 case, which comes with 3 fans. 2x140's in the front, and 1 in the rear. I intend to remove the front 2x140's and put 3x120's in as the case allows which will give me more intake. The 2x140's i intend to use with the Kraken x61 and its fans to create a push pull over the radiator. My motherboard, the ASUS X99-Pro has six fan headers, but obviously i have 8 fans.
What cable do i need to connect the other 2 fans? or do i even need one? please link me to what i need if so, I can work from that
Also, the fans on the radiator need to work together, so how do i go about that? is this just a case of setting them up in the bios so they work in conjunction with each other?
