The DP cable will work fine. I wouldn't get the DVI - D cable, but that's just me. Either will work fine just take your pick.

The VG248QE supports 144Hz with either displayport or Dual Link DVI. Your choice.

The DP cable would do it. It's listed as "1.1", but a DP cable is a DP cable. What matters is the output of the card (1060 has DP1.4) and the monitor (has to be at least 1.2 for 144Hz0.

The Displayport cable can definitely do it. I'm not sure about the DVI

It can, I have the same monitor and mine is running over DVI.

The DVI-D cable that comes with the Asus VG248QE works perfect.
