Focus:
- Asus Strix GTX 1070
- PCI-E VGA Cable 6-Pin + 8(6+2)-Pin
- EVGA Supernova 650 G2
Background info:
- So I'm nearly done with my very first pc build and I just cannot go any further. My problem is lying in the cables, more specifically the PCI-E VGA Cable. Now since my graphics card is only connectable through a SINGLE 8-Pin connector it suddenly makes things much harder for a newbie like me.
Problem:
- My fully moduler power supply came with a PCI-E VGA cable, that has an 8-Pin end (for my PSU) and a 6+2-Pin end (for my graphics card) ... which has an extra 6-Pin sticking out!?
Now what on earth do i do with the extra 6-Pin? Do i hide it?
